WE NEED YOU to help welcome MSA Froshies 2010. This is the biggest event of the year and we need a lot of committed volunteers to make it a huge success.
The following positions are up for grabs:
1. NETWORKING WITH CULTURAL CLUBS: (2 positions)
Job description: Need to get in touch with the cultural clubs like, Somali students association, Egyptian..etc, and ask them to promote our frosh for us to the members they have via email, etc.
2. SPONSORSHIP COORDINATOR: (2 positions)
Job description: acquiring funds from businesses .
3. FOOD COORDINATOR
Job description: to ensure the dinner for the eid themed day as well as the other three days with regards to iftar. For the Eid dinner will be served at Hart House and we need you to contact them
4. UNIVERSITY THEME DAY COORDINATOR (First Day of Frosh)
- Basically a whole day focused on new students getting familiar with the campus.

– ie/ scavenger hunt/ amazing race on campus? (4hrs long)—Start at 11am, have a sort of themed places ie/ med sci, sid smith, Victoria college, commerce, and have the volunteers stand in there dressed up as the place they’re in then they can tell the froshies where to find they’re next clue!
5. CITY THEME DAY COORDINATOR: (2nd Day Frosh)
Job description: In charge of organizing Centre Island trip and City tour
-A day of fun-filled activities the let students get to know downtown Toronto.

- A day of fun-filled activities the let students get to know downtown Toronto. this will happen on the second day (September 5, 2010).
- Centre Island Trip – 11am start will basically take the whole day, can play games on the island. Also before the centre island possibility of having a quick tour of downtown. ex: organizing Centre Island trip, city tour
6. 3rd Day of Frosh – ISLAMIC THEME COORDINATOR (3rd Day Frosh):
- Essentially this is going to be a games night/ social type thing.
- Activities planned:
- Games ie/ who wants to be a muslim millionaire, islamic quiz bowl. Also plan to have an inspirational speaker talk about staying steadfast on the religion while in university.
7. EID THEME DAY COORDINATOR: (4th Day of Frosh)
-Since the timing of Eid is not known for certain, and so we want to have a small Eid dinner for the froshies and volunteers at Hart House. Thus, your job is to organize this.

- Entertainment ie/ poetry, stand up comedy. Also Eid themed artistic competitions, and the dinner it self.
8. FROSH LEADERS: (MANY OF YOU COOL PEOPLE)
- You will help the coordinators and guide the froshies
9. COLLEGES COORDINATOR
- Contact all UofT colleges regarding our Frosh before the Frosh packages get sent out. We NEED this position taken ASAP.
