You are invited to participate in a Muslim-Roman Catholic Dialogue with other university students. This is part of an exciting global project funded by the United Nations to engage young adult Muslims and Catholics in interfaith dialogue. It will provide an authentic opportunity to develop mutual respect and understanding. Similar events are being held in Egypt and Sudan . There are 15 limited spots for participants from each community – the registration deadline is Wednesday Oct 22.
In 2007, Canada’s Federal Parliament officially declared October as Islamic History Month in Canada (IHMC). As a part of this initiative the MSA in collaboration with the Canadian Islamic Congress will be hosting a Professional Development Workshop for Teachers, Educators and Youth. The workshop will focus on the subject of Teaching about Religion, Islam and the World.
